3. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We may share information with trusted vendors, contractors, and service providers that help us operate LOT, including providers for authentication, hosting, cloud storage, databases, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, content delivery, and AI processing. These providers may process personal information and user content on our behalf solely to operate, secure, maintain, support, and improve the Service.

This may include providers such as Google Cloud / Firebase, Apple, Google, and AI model or inference providers used to power reflection, similarity, matching, or related AI features.

Legal Compliance and Safety

We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, subpoena, legal process, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the safety, rights, property, or security of users, Super Able, or the public.

Corporate Transactions

We may disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, dissolution, asset sale, or similar transaction.

With Your Direction

We may disclose information when you choose to share content publicly, with friends, within communities, through invite flows, or through platform or system share features.

4. Visibility and Content Controls

LOT allows you to control the visibility of certain content, including private, friends, public, anonymous, and community-scoped content.

  • Content marked as public may be visible to other users.
  • Content shared with friends may be visible to eligible friend connections.
  • Content posted in communities may be visible to members of those communities, depending on community settings.
  • Content marked as anonymous may hide your identity from other users, but we may retain internal identifiers for moderation, abuse prevention, safety, and legal compliance.
  • Content marked as private is intended to remain private to your account and is not shown to other users through public, friend, or community surfaces.
  • Private-note AI outputs are intended to remain private to the account owner.
  • Users can hide individual posts, report objectionable content, block abusive users, and contact info@superable.net about inappropriate activity.
  • Shared, friend, and community content may be processed in readable form as needed to operate those sharing features and related moderation, discovery, and AI functionality.

5. AI Features and Processing

LOT may use automated systems and AI models to analyze certain content in order to provide features such as:

  • reflection summaries
  • similar thought suggestions
  • thread or conversation suggestions
  • resonance or matching features
  • memory or "echo" features
  • recommendation, ranking, or discovery improvements

For shared posts and community posts, AI analysis may occur automatically as part of providing these features.

For private notes, AI analysis is used only if you enable the relevant note AI feature in the app or web app.

When note AI is enabled, LOT decrypts the note locally on your device when needed and sends the note text to our backend and AI processing providers for the limited purpose of generating note AI results. We do not intend to store plain note text inside note AI documents; instead, we store derived metadata and related status records.

AI outputs may include derived metadata such as:

  • themes
  • tone
  • tension
  • underlying logic
  • embeddings
  • similarity scores
  • resonance signals
  • pattern or matching signals
  • other inference-based metadata

These outputs are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate.

We use AI-generated outputs to support product features such as reflection, discovery, and conversation, not to make medical, psychiatric, legal, employment, insurance, credit, housing, education-admissions, or other similarly significant decisions about users.

6. Private Notes and AI

Private notes remain private to your account unless you choose to share them using LOT's sharing controls.

If you enable AI reflection for private notes:

  • note text may be transmitted to our AI service providers for the limited purpose of generating private insights and related features
  • note text is decrypted locally on your device before that request and is not intended to be stored as plain text in note AI documents
  • we may store derived AI metadata associated with those notes, such as themes, tone, tension, underlying logic, embeddings, similar-thought matches, and echo or memory signals
  • we may store note-encryption settings and encrypted key material needed to support your selected cross-platform or Apple Keychain-only note-encryption mode
  • this AI-derived data is intended to remain private to your account and not be surfaced publicly as your private note content

7. Push Notifications

If enabled, we may use your device push token to send notifications such as:

  • friend requests
  • replies
  • community invites
  • community activity
  • daily prompts or reminders
  • other product activity updates

You can control notification permissions through your device settings and in-app preferences.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide and maintain the Service
  • support account continuity and core functionality
  • improve performance, reliability, safety, and product quality
  • comply with legal obligations
  • resolve disputes
  • enforce agreements and policies

Retention periods vary depending on account status, content type, legal requirements, product needs, and operational necessity.

We may retain AI-derived metadata and related inference records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide AI-powered features, maintain continuity, improve reliability, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our policies.

Upon verified deletion requests, we will delete or de-identify information as required by law, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, safety, backup, and operational exceptions.

9. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and user content.

For private notes, this includes encryption controls designed to protect synced note content. LOT currently supports a cross-platform encrypted-note mode and an optional Apple Keychain-only legacy mode for future note encryption.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to, through, or stored in the Service.

10. Children

LOT is not intended for children under 13, or under any higher minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. LOT is intended for mature users, and public, community, anonymous, AI-assisted, or other social features may be limited, restricted, or rated for older users depending on platform rules, safety requirements, and applicable law.

Platform storefronts may apply their own higher age rating, including an 18+ or other higher App Store rating. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child below the required age, we will take appropriate steps to delete it as required by law.

11. International Transfers

Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we, our affiliates, or our service providers operate. This may include cloud infrastructure providers, authentication providers, analytics providers, notification providers, and AI processing providers.

Data protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your location. By using the Service, you understand and consent, where permitted by law, to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in those jurisdictions.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • access personal information
  • correct inaccurate information
  • request deletion
  • restrict or object to certain processing
  • request data portability
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • request information about AI-derived personal information or inferences associated with your account

To exercise these rights, contact: info@superable.net

We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

13. California Privacy Notice

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including rights to know, access, delete, correct, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, subject to exceptions.

We do not sell personal information as defined under California law, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as currently understood, unless and until we clearly disclose otherwise.

Requests may be submitted to: info@superable.net

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will include a revised effective date.

If we make material changes to how we collect, use, process, or share personal information, including material changes related to AI processing or AI-powered features, we may provide additional notice in-app, on the website, or by email where appropriate.

Your continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
